As proud members of the LGBTQ+ community, we are thrilled to celebrate Pride Month with a range of exciting offerings and activities. This June, our café is more vibrant than ever, adorned with an array of pride colors and filled with pride-inspired treats and beverages. A Warm and Colorful Welcome
The moment you step into Second Best Coffee, you'll be greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors. Our shop is adorned with rainbow flags, banners, and decorations that reflect the spirit of Pride Month. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, a true reflection of our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
Pride-Inspired Menu
Our talented baker and baristas have crafted a special Pride menu, featuring an array of colorful and delicious treats. From cookies and cupcakes to drinks, these items are designed to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride Cookies and Baked Goods
Our pride-inspired cookies are not only visually stunning but also incredibly tasty. Decorated with vibrant icing in the colors of the rainbow, these cookies are a symbol of love and acceptance. Our bakers have also whipped up a variety of other pride-themed baked goods, including cupcakes adorned with rainbow sprinkles and pastries shaped like hearts and stars.

Our baristas have created a lineup of pride-inspired drinks that are as delightful to look at as they are to sip. Try a coffee with rainbow sprinkles or ask us about our other Pride inspired drinks.
Community and Celebration
At Second Best Coffee, Pride Month is about more than just colorful decorations and delicious treats. It's a time to spend in community, and to celebrate our identities. At Second Best, Pride Month is a celebration! We’re always looking to add little touches that bring our community together. This month we’ll be hosting a run/walk on June 23rd. We are also going to be adding a “free little library” to the space by the end of June.
Run/Walk Event
Pride Run/Walk, Sunday, June 23rd
One of the highlights of our Pride Month celebration is our run/walk event on Sunday, June 23rd. This event is led by non-binary and trans leaders, and it's an opportunity for everyone to come together in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just enjoy a leisurely walk, we encourage you to join us. The event is designed to be inclusive and accessible to people of all fitness levels.
The event starts at 9am but the shop will be open at 7am so feel free to come as early as you like. We will have complimentary brewed coffee, as well as discounted drinks and food, and raffle prizes. It's a wonderful way to connect with others, celebrate our community, and enjoy some delicious food and drinks..
The Importance of Pride Month
Pride Month holds a special place in our hearts at Second Best Coffee. For many of us, it’s a time to reflect on our journeys, celebrate our identities, and honor the struggles and triumphs of those who came before us. Pride Month is a reminder of the progress we’ve made, but also of the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality and acceptance.
